The Surface is a thin and lightweight tablet coming in at 9.3mm and weighing just 1.49 pounds.  You can expect the surface tablets to have an array of ports which will include a microSD slot as well as a USB 2.0 port with the Surface Pro set to feature a USB 3.0 port as well as HDMI output.  Built in storage will come in the form of 32GB or 64GB which should leave plenty of room for applications, music, games and movies.
